Walking around the Bass Coast

By Olivia Hughes

With the weather warming up and daylight savings kicking in, you might be finding yourself having more time to get out for your daily walk. Here are some of our favourite walks you have to try!

A beautiful yet easy walk to do with the kids located in Inverloch is The Townsend Bluff Estuary Walk. The 2km walking track includes fishing platforms and scenic views over the Anderson Inlet.

The George Bass Coastal Walk situated from Kilcunda to San Remo is a longer and higher intensity walk but you can expect beautiful views outlooking the Anderson Peninsula.

If you’re willing to travel an extra few minutes The Pinnacles in Cape Woolamai is well worth it! With breath-taking views of the coastline and granite rock structures that form The Pinnacles. This walk should definitely be on everyone’s ‘to-do’ list.

Victoria’s most loved park ‘The Prom’ is home to day walks, hikes, campgrounds, beaches and all outdoor activities in between. Only mentioning just one of the stunning walks, ‘The Big Drift’ is one like no other. An escape from crowds, the peaceful walk is enjoyable in any weather conditions.
